Day Six

Inspiration was at an all time low today and you nearly had a photo of a boring playdoh cube. The photo was taken, ready to be uploaded and then I had the idea you see in the photo.

Maybe you'll get the cube tomorrow!

  1. You're so clever :-) This is really stunning! And I love the lighting and the use of neg space in the composition. You're going to have such a cool collection by the end of the challenge!

  2. Wow, what a great idea.
You must have some dedication for this to be able to make a string like this and get it wrapped around the spool and not breaking it.

I do like the negative space around this one a lot.

  4. The way the spool/bobbin is hiding in the corner like that is so funny. You are so full of bright ideas and this is just as bright as any! Nice one!

  8. Great idea! That is how some of the best ideas come, right at the last minute. Now how about the string writing out a message in the negative space? Could even be done over several photos... :P

  9. Love it!! What dedication you have! I like the white space, but I'd like it even more with a needle and "thread" over there, or maybe the needle stuck into the spool (like I do).

  13. Some of your photos look like they took some painstaking effort. But the results speak for themselves, very nice photo, with just the right amount of thread hanging out.
